Mark has been a financial planner for over 30 years years providing comprehensive, financial and investment planning services to his clients. Mark attended Michigan State University, where he was active in the Psi Upsilon Fraternity and played varsity baseball, helping win a Big Ten Championship his senior year. He graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration in 1979.
Mark maintains two strong associations. First, he provides securities oversight, financial planning and technology supported through LPL Financial, the largest independent broker dealer* in the nation. Financial advisors backed by LPL Financial have become a leading source of objective advice for accumulating and managing personal wealth. Secondly, Mark is an active member of a prestigious and large regional network of America Group Retirement Strategy Centers. Service team members, both local and regionally, are skilled, knowledgeable, and focused on serving clients with dedication and distinction. America Group Retirement Strategy Centers is known as one of the “Top” large enterprises associated with LPL Financial.
In 1983, Mark earned his securities registration, and over the following 34 years he continued to expand his education, becoming a CFP® Practitioner in 1997 and CRPC in 2013. Mark adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and he fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.
Outside of Work
Mark and his wife Carol live in Farmington Hills and have been married for over 24 years. They have three grown children Chad, Emma and Claire and an adorable dog, Lucy. Mark is an avid golfer and spends additional free time working out, volunteering, cooking and trying new adventures like kayaking and biking.
Community service is one of both enjoyment and enrichment for Mark. He is honored to work with the Board of the Amyloidosis Foundation. This Foundation provides support for amyloidosis patients and families while promoting research, education and awareness.
